Payment, settlement, and withdrawal process for professionals on ConsultX
This Payout Policy outlines the payment, settlement, and withdrawal process for professionals ("Experts") providing consultation services through the ConsultX platform. Payments made by users for consultations are processed through the ConsultX platform and later settled with the respective Experts in accordance with this policy.
By registering as an Expert and providing services through ConsultX, you agree to comply with this Payout Policy.
All consultation payments must be made by users through the official payment system integrated with the ConsultX platform. Consultation sessions are confirmed only after the payment has been successfully processed. Experts are not permitted to accept direct payments from users outside the platform for consultations initiated through ConsultX.
ConsultX may charge a platform commission or service fee on each completed consultation session. The applicable commission percentage will be communicated to Experts at the time of onboarding or through official platform notifications.

Experts become eligible for payouts once all of the following conditions are met:
ConsultX reserves the right to temporarily hold payouts in cases involving disputes, complaints, or suspected violations of platform policies.
ConsultX applies a minimum payout threshold to ensure efficient processing and reduce transaction costs.
ConsultX processes Expert payouts according to a weekly settlement cycle. Eligible payout balances will be reviewed and processed once every week, subject to successful payment settlement from the payment gateway. ConsultX reserves the right to modify the payout schedule if required for operational or financial reasons.
All payouts will be transferred to the bank account provided by the Expert during the onboarding process. Experts are responsible for ensuring that their bank account details are accurate and updated at all times. ConsultX shall not be responsible for delays or failed transfers caused by incorrect banking information provided by the Expert.
If a consultation session is cancelled or refunded in accordance with the platform's Cancellation and Refund Policy, the refunded amount may be deducted from the Expert's payable balance. If the payout has already been processed, ConsultX reserves the right to recover or adjust the refunded amount from the Expert's future payouts.
Experts are responsible for complying with all applicable tax laws and regulations related to their earnings. ConsultX may deduct applicable taxes, including Tax Deducted at Source (TDS) where required under Indian law, before releasing payouts. Experts are responsible for reporting their income and paying any additional taxes applicable to them.
In the event of a dispute between a user and an Expert regarding a consultation session, ConsultX may temporarily hold the payout amount while the matter is investigated. ConsultX reserves the right to review the dispute and take appropriate action in accordance with platform policies. The platform's decision regarding such disputes shall be final and binding.
ConsultX reserves the right to modify or update this Payout Policy at any time. Experts will be notified of any significant changes through the platform or official communication channels. Continued use of the platform after such updates constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
